You were trying to resist, but you couldn't stop yourself from going to that town. The streets were empty. The streets were quiet. You feel a pulling at the bottom of your stomach, like a paw trying to grasp you from the inside. Finally, you find evidence of the MAGNETIC PHENOMENON you were looking for. The feeling of someone watching you is stronger now. An immense shadow pours over the road like molasses on a hot night. You don't remember it getting dark, but dusk is here. This place, IT LOOKS DIFFERENT AT NIGHT. Plastic bags skitter across the sidewalk in the breeze. Familiar alleys crawl between strange buildings. You pick up the pace. You hear a church is holding a late service somewhere, but you can't tell where. Something isn't right. You break into a run, but find yourself at a dead end at a beach. You can't see the opposite shore, but you dive in anyway. Somehow, simply thinking of certain phrases keeps you from breathing for long enough to get to the other side, like you're using A RESPIRATOR TANK FULL OF WORDS. You shake with the cold as your clothes drip on the sidewalk. A dilapidated elementary school stands before you. You struggle to pull the heavy double doors open while you shiver, but when you get inside you begin to feel less chilled. You look for another exit, but it is lined with several corpses that have been nailed to the walls. You can't help but stare. You realize there are more than you thought, the hallway extends for what seems to be miles. A thought prods your mind while you try to pull yourself away. You think these corpses were always here. They never died. They were never nailed to the wall. You believe THEY WERE NEVER REAL, that they were never people. This is all they've ever been. When you finally tear your gaze away, you run back where you came from and realize the double doors refuse to open. You bash your shoulder into it over and over in desperation until you hear a crunching sound in your arm. The door languidly swings open. You are at the outskirts of town, near a police station. As you limp down the street and toward the woods, a radio sparks to life in the police station window. It's simply static, but you swear that you hear the words "SEE YOU SOON" as you finally leave that place. ... more

You can also get this at herorobb.itch.io. You can do whatever you want with it except sell it on it's own again. Use it to make your own music. Use it in a game or film or anything, whatever. Even if you don't buy it. Put a microphone up to your speakers and record it if you really don't want to buy it, but need the file for whatever reason.
